Ophiusa is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Monastrell and Fogoneu.
To make Ophiusa, there is a manual harvest and selection with a fermentation in stainless steel tanks. When fermentation ends, the skins are separated and pressed to maintain the fruit aromas.
Ophiusa is aged for 7 months in French oak barrels and then part of the wine ages in a tank instead of a barrel.
Light, pleasant wine with balsamic notes and subtle tertiary aromas. Surprisingly unique and fresh, not warm or with candied notes. Great evolution in the bottle. Surprisingly perfect at the oenological level. Praises the winemaker’s work as magnificent.
